Hand Media International Editor of International Security Buyer and Security News Desk series, Nigel Walker, was asked to moderate two panel discussions with key industry figures to discuss important trends and topics of interest to all attendees. The first panel discussion, titled ‘Creating Secure Cities of the Future through Infrastructure Security and Integrity’, saw Walker moderate a session with Hadi Anwar, Head of Smart City Data Privacy & Cyber Security, NEOM , KSA, Dr. Fatma Baothman Board President, AI Society, KSA and Behak Kangarloo CISO Programme Director, BKTRON, UAE.
The second discussion, hosted today at the show, offered insights about the ‘Perceived Threat Vs Actual and the Balance Between Openness and Cooperation and Secure Facilities’, which included considered thought from George Eapen Global CISO and Group Head of Cyber Security, Petrofac, UAE, Dr. Fatma Baothman Board President, AI Society, KSA and Saqib Chaudhry Chief Information Security Officer, Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Walker has worked in the publishing industry for more than 20-years after graduating from Lancaster University with 2:1 BA(Hons) in International Relations and Strategic Studies in 1998. Prior to gaining his degree he served for four years in the British Army with the Second Battalion, and whilst in the military he served in Germany and in the UK with a tour as part of the British Army demonstration battalion based in Warminster.
