Hand Media International announces new apprenticeship partnership

Hand Media International is excited to announce that due to continued business growth, it will be hiring an apprentice to join the expanded editorial team.

With the company’s exciting new adventure of digitalisation and modernisation, which is evolving rapidly within the business and its publications, Hand Media has decided to expand the growing team and recruit new young talent. As the world is changing it is important for organisations to recruit the talent for tomorrow, and Hand Media is happy to present opportunities to young people.

The chosen applicant will gain a range of journalistic and editorial training both in print and digital publishing across a vast array of B2B sectors, as well as learning all about online news and social media. We are looking for someone with a ‘can do attitude’ and willingness to learn.

Jon Pittock, Publisher, Hand Media International stated: “It is a very exciting time for Hand Media, with a lot of new ventures for this year and the next. Because of this we are eager to expand our team and give back to the community by recruiting an apprentice. As a family run business, we look to nurture talent, and are excited to welcome the successful candidate on board.”

Vicky Frost, Director of PA Training, says: ‘We are delighted to be partnering with Hand-Media in this exciting opportunity. The successful candidate will learn the skills they need from leading journalists and editors at PA Training – part of the PA Media Group – which they can apply straightaway in the workplace as they develop their craft. The apprentice will be supported on the programme from start to finish by one of our dedicated development coaches, as well as being trained alongside other new journalists.’
