HMI attends ISM 2019
At the start of the year, Hand Media International were invited to attend ISM, the world’s largest trade fair for sweets and snacks, in Cologne, Germany. With more than 2,500 global supply chain and procurement professionals, this year’s event sparked creative thinking with over 70 breakout sessions, conversations with peers, inspiration while listening to thought leaders and solutions while meeting with over 100 industry suppliers.
With International Confectionary being the leading international media platform serving the global confectionery industry and receiving an overall circulation of over 16,000, the ISM event was the perfect place for Hand Media to network with potential clients and to discuss future trading opportunities.
Every issue of International Confectionary covers a wide-range of confectionery-related topics with the aim of promoting the industry on a wider scale. ISM was therefore a good opportunity for Hand Media to meet with both established and prospective subscribers as well as to promote their leading brand to an array of international exhibitors.
Hand Media delegates were able to talk to leading manufactures in the confectionery industry to discuss the highlights of the event as well as general thoughts on the confectionery industry. These included; Jamie Laing, Founder of Candy Kittens, Christoph Krombholz, Marketing Manager of LoeschPack and Markus Rustler, Managing Partner of Theegarten-Pactec to name a few.
James Ling, Managing Editor of Hand Media, added, “ISM had a lively atmosphere and with the strong team we had out there, our publication International Confectionery was seen as the perfect vehicle by many of the other major exhibitors for getting their message out to the global market.”
