Sales Manager

Job Description

We are currently seeking an energetic and success-motivated Sales manager to join our sales team. Your daily job will involve speaking with clients and to advertising agencies, pitching them both over the phone and face to face with formal or informal presentations. The ideal advertising Sales Manager will have previous experience in media sales and have worked across b2b magazines, digital and event platforms. You will be driven, intelligent, outgoing and charismatic with the ability to listen and communicate well on all levels.

 

Duties:

  • Work using a mixture of face-to-face and telephone contact, your role will consist primarily of developing and following up on warm and cold leads both to prospective and pre-existing clients
  • Develop presentations and packages that would help you make your case stronger, work with the team to create tools that would support in selling stage
  • Provide proactive ideas on how to approach new clients energetic with can do attitude
  • Keep your line manager informed and briefed on sales progress daily
  • Record all calls and conversation with potential prospects
  • You’ll need to keep abreast of the print, digital and events media industry through in-depth research and through actively using the latest blogs and social media

 

Requirements

  • You will have at least 2 + years experience in generating leads and appointments with potential customers
  • You will be a motivated self-starter and possess a proven track record in advertising sales
  • The ability to build effective conversations with senior level decision makers is essential
  • Personality wise you’ll be polished, interesting, intelligent, energetic and be a real self-starter
  • Be able to articulate with the ability to think on your feet
  • Incredibly confident with an innate drive for success with can do attitude
  • Have a clear understanding of the Advertising business
  • Have strong presentation and negotiation skills, confident to speak in front of large audience
  • A hard worker as your earning potential and progression depends on your results

 

Salary from 30k – 40k dependent on experience with a realistic OTE of 15k top achievers can earn more.
