Hand Media International appoints new Publisher

Hand Media International (HMI) is delighted to announce the appointment of Jon Pittock as Publisher across the business.

Jon will be developing and implementing strategy on a range of respected B2B and consumer titles, in sectors including international fire and security, confectionery, bakery and UK housing.

Prior to joining HMI, Jon spent over four years at Mark Allen Group as Portfolio Director responsible for the company’s largest international and regional events, spanning Europe, the Middle East and the Far East. He was also heavily involved on the publishing side, specifically in relation to the business and critical communications sector.

Speaking of the appointment, Jon said: “It’s a huge pleasure and privilege to be working at Hand Media. It’s a fantastic company to work for, and the quality of the products speak for themselves.
“I look forward to helping to drive the business forward and make it even more profitable going into the future. We have big plans, not just for the titles but for the whole business and brand.”

Jon was appointed in July of this year, taking up the post at the beginning of August.
