HMI promotes Rebecca Spayne to Managing Editor


Hand Media International (HMI) is delighted to announce the promotion of Rebecca Spayne to Managing Editor.

Rebecca has been a part of the HMI team for nearly four years working as an Editor in the Editorial department. She has worked across all of our B2B titles and has been a prominent member of the many industry verticals that we cover. 

As Managing Editor, Rebecca will be assisting the business in implementing and developing strategy on a range of respected B2B and consumer titles in sectors including international fire and security, confectionery, bakery, UK housing and country music. In addition she will be guiding the editorial team in the publication of all market leading titles. The Managing Editor role is a key position in the successful application of many new ventures being rolled out across board at Hand Media and is a testament to the development and innovation of the business.

Prior to joining HMI, Rebecca spent several years in digital publishing at Thomson Reuters and trade publishing at a range of literary agencies and publishing houses. Rebecca’s experience in all aspects of the publishing industry, her knowledge of our magazine industry verticals as well as her longstanding position within the editorial department places her as an ideal candidate for the role.
